Enhancing communication strategies in controlling neglected tropical diseases in Nigeria

Neglected tropical diseases (NTD), a broad set of infectious prevalent in and subtropical environments, are widely known to affect individuals with limited resources underserved communities. Nigeria is one the countries highest cases NTD, an estimated 100 million people country at risk for least NTD. In Nigeria, NTD master plan recognizes behavioural change communication as important part its strategy reducing burden NTDs. Behavioural has been proven be significant preventing infection, spread re-infection diseases. However, poor strategies, lack funds human training on how deliver interventions major challenges. Enhancing strategies will significantly help increase attention towards prevention methods acceptance treatment interventions. It also ensure that healthcare professionals provided adequate skills delivery This article reviews activities enhance context settings Nigeria.
